Feeling Good Week

Wicklow Mental Health Association held a week of “Feeling Good” events in Wicklow town during World Mental Health Week in October 2011. The aim of the week was to provide a week of “Fun” events and an atmosphere of positivity to lift the spirits of people in their community.  There was a wide range of free events which included a Laughter Night, a Comedy Film Night, and a Variety Night. There were also two chargeable events - an evening of Set Dancing & Ceili Mor Night, and an Evening Of Music featuring Wicklow Male Voice Choir with local Sopranos Aishling Greene Madden and Erika Copeland.

The “Feeling Good Week” programme was developed with the support of our community and financial support from Wicklow & District Lions Club and Burke Oil.
